WWII war tactics
In WWII both sides the Allies and Axis designed and advanced weapons and tactics to be stronger to the other side. They advanced in all kind of warfare, air warfare, land warfare, and sea warfare. Air warfare consisted of the following, when bombers were sent to destroy the enemy's industry and towns, it was referred to as strategic air warfare.
Air warfare
The heavily conducted air raids used were new developed long rage air craft, allowing them to penetrate in to areas. Fighter-bomber air craft were employed for tactical missions. These aircraft were heavily armed and they could with stand steep dives and rapid maneuvers.
Sea warfare
Naval warfare of World War II included submarines, battleships and aircraft carriers and amphibious tactics. Submarines during WWII attacked in what they called "wolf-pack" in groups. The U.S. used this to attack the Japaneses ships.
land warfare
Tanks and artillery and small arms all played an important roles for both the Allies and Axis in land warfare of WWII. Tanks were heavily armed, and artillery during WWII became more mobile. Better rifles and hand-carried rocket launchers.
